The course promotes online training and certification for individuals wishing to obtain the knowledge, skills and ability to become a strategy implementation professional (SIP), the first global certification of its kind.
About Strategy Implementation Institute
A couple of years ago, together with my co-founder Robin Speculand, we decided to solve the growing gap in competencies and increasing failure rates in strategy implementing. We created the Strategy Implementation Institute (the Institute), setting our purpose on developing implementation specialists.
Recognizing that implementing strategy successfully is a rare and highly appreciated skill that distinguishes the most influential leaders in business, the Institute has created an online community for those passionate about implementation to learn, share and grow.

Who is it for?
This new certification and online training is perfectly suited for middle managers looking to enhance their implementation skills; leaders responsible for implementing strategy and improving the business performance and project managers looking to complement their capabilities with strategy implementation skills.
SIP course & certification
Participants study (online) seven course modules over 1 (full-time) or 6-8 (part-time) weeks. Upon completing the course, they apply to become a Strategy Implementation Professional by completing the online exam. Successful candidates will receive a digital badge.
The course provides candidates with an overview of the most important processes required to guide an organization through the implementation journey. The main aim of the course is to provide guidance to ensure that strategies are implemented effectively.
Training and certification will help participants to:
- Understand the challenges of implementation
- Adopt a roadmap to guide an organization through the implementation journey
- Develop the skills and tools to be an implementation specialist
- Understand how to lead and direct a strategy team
- Avoid the common pitfalls that cause more implementations to fail than succeed

Applying for certification also involves becoming a member of the Strategy Implementation Institute, joining a global community of implementation practitioners.
The membership fee is US$120/per year and the online course is US$550. Currently offered at a 50% launch discount.
Exam format
The Strategy Implementation Professional exam is a multiple choice format. Candidates have 1 hour to complete the exam. 60 questions worth 1 mark each. 49/60 marks or above are needed to pass.
